Dear Pastor or Prayer Leader, Since March 2006, more than 350 churches in metropolitan Richmond have joined in a covenant to pray together weekly for the people of our metropolitan city. Please join us in this common prayer, beginning its fifth year on March 7, 2010. We believe that God desires the healing of this metropolitan city. We also believe that God desires for us to pray together and to pray specifically for his kingdom to come here as it is in heaven. This Covenant of Prayer was originally developed by a committee of clergy from many of the denominations of Metropolitan Richmond. All Christian churches are invited to participate. We pray for the more than one million people who live in this historic capital city of Virginia, all of its jurisdictions -- Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Richmond, and the surrounding counties and towns. Please call us if you have any questions, and please e-mail us, fill in a form on the website, or send us a printed copy of this covenant to let us know you've joined in. Yours faithfully, The Rev. Benjamin P. Campbell,Pastoral Director, Richmond Hill Rev. Delmarshae SledgeAssociate Pastor, Coordinator of Metro Richmond at Prayer
